Individuals would also receive bigger paychecks. I think income taxes from local, state, and federal government should be abolished and replaced with this system.

Huckabee's version of a fair tax exempted the first X amount spent each T (I can't remember the amounts or time frame, but I do remember him harping on the idea of the exemption.)

I worked as a night manager at an icream and burger shop just around the corner from M.I.T. The raw materials of restaraunt food are not the primary contributor to the price of what is sold. And yeah, they'll fire your ass sooner or later and then you'll start posting in here about what terrible people they were. You are probably right they won't call the cops - but if by chance you are there long enough to qualify for unemployment compensation, they will definitely tell the agency that you were fired and why. i.e. No benefits
