No, Really[^]. :| [ADD] My sincere apologies if any of you feel that I should not have posted it here. The quality of questions on the boards have gone to the worst possible level. I was surprised with the persons attitude when she down-voted me on a technical forum, asked me to STFU and said that she could ask anything over here and that the people answer the queries are the ones who make her lazier. WTF?! [/ADD]

This happened to me last week. And just like you, when I apologized I got voted down. But we have had a deluge of idiots lately and I personally want to know about them if they are appearing in forums I don't normally visit so I know whom to avoid.

I'm fed up with people dragging poor quality questions and articles into the Lounge. Somebody insulted you for trying to help? (It's happened to me.) Ignore them, perhaps mark it as abuse, but don't drag it into the Lounge.

The person's attitude stems from your own bad attitude. If you're going to help someone, do it with a smile and move on, like Naveen did just before you. If you instead choose to berate the poster, don't expect a kind reply. What I had not mentioned was, this isn't the first time it is happening. She's been asked to read a book or articles, but she completely ignores it every time. But then I'd agree with you. I always had the option to ignore it. :)

That's bad. I know how that feels. What bothered me was, this is not the first time she asked something like that. It's been happening for a while and last time I remembered, she was asking around what does a dialog based application mean. :wtf:
