A new and excellent concept in teaching and relaying information - Just look at it[^] :) A whole new universe of wonder has just opened up before me, this is an epiphany of Biblical proportions. I shall from now on look at many things, scry into their inner workings and discern their meaning from observation. No more for me the inanity of conversation or the written word, I'LL JUST LOOK AT IT!

darn, I need a catchy slogan like that! Just do it, It's the real thing, like a rock, stronger than pain, faster than a speeding bullet.... Just look at it. Why didn't I think of that! I think it's brilliant! What an idea! And I was there! He took the idea! He saw it ripe on the tree, he plucked it, and he put it in his pocket. It's, it's, dare I say... genius? Ah, no, no! But maybe, ooh! ah! maybe it is! Maybe I'm in the presence of greatness, maybe I just don't know it. But I saw it...

I looked at the archive, but it was very psychologically disturbing... none of the links worked, and it said I was you! ;)

Pressing the [alt] + [ptr scr] simultaneously will copy the contents of the screen to the clipboard. From there you can drop it into any editor (MS Word, WordPad, Paint, etc.) that can handle images and save the file.

And using Snagit or ScreenHunter gives you so many additional options (all of which can be preset) that you'll never be tempted to use [alt] + [ptr scr] again.

Since I have Photoshop as well as other image processing software I can use to edit the captured image I doubt that Snagit will add any value.

The one above it on the list (Clickety^) is well written and throughly documented. Unfortunately, not by the purported author, but by Dr. Rosenberg of NASA. Besides the Red-Gate series of SQL tools (haven't tried their ants profiler yet, but I'm sure it'll be incredible), SnagIt is the one of the best tools I ever coughed up money for.

Having used windows sfor a long time, I know Alt + Print Screen. :) But look carefully at his screenshot, it contains the full web page screenshot. You don't see any scroll bars or any title bar. That will be a difficult job to do with Alt+Prt Sc. In past I have written some utilities, to capture web page like that. SO I was a little curious to know how he did it.

Since I have Photoshop as well as other image processing software I can use to edit the captured image I doubt that Snagit will add any value.
