Is it possible to, in peace, have an office repository, and a home repository, and move a working copy between the two? Versioning isn't that serious as all releases are always committed at the office. In fact, I don't even need to transport changes. All I want to is avoid having to import the working copy on either site.

If your idea is to work on a mirrored repository (and to make off-line commits), try svk[^].
