Not talk about the past? Isn't that the Jewish condition?

How should I know? The Jews in my ancestry died long before I was born; I experientially know nothing about being a Jew. Shoot! I don't even experientially know what it's like to be an American Indian, despite that 1/4 of my ancestry comes from that source. But getting back to the topic ... even irrationality (in this case, the irrational Jew-hatred so popular amongst leftish persons in Europe and America) works out according to logical dictates. Fortunately, human beings *are* free agents, and can choose to break out of the irrational trajectory they are on: all-but-inevitable is not totally-inevitable.

There is only hatred of evil and hatred that is evil and the line between the two is a dangerous place. There is plenty about the modern state of Israel that is hateful and plenty about both Islam and the political leadership of the Palestinians which is hateful and there's way too much hate swilling around the whole area attaching it itself indescriminately to targets both deserving and undeserving. Anyone picking sides has basically already lost the argument.

What utter tosh. Certainly, picking a side, regardless of its intent and purpose, is far preferable to sitting on the fence unable or unwilling to make a decision.

On the once side, the crazed, anti-American, conspiracy-theory monger spouting non-sense, who claims to be my fellow Christian. On the other side, the rabid, irrational 'atheist' (who for a change of pace is not spouting non-sense), who has repeatedly lied about me in the past, and of whom it is reasonable to believe will lie about me in the future.

You may choose to attempt to identify the lesser of two evils and hate the greater but in this case, as I'm not directly involved, I have the luxury of rejecting both. there is no need to say 'a plague on both their houses' because that is so clearly already the situation.

No it is a warning against joining in with those who hate, for whatever reason. You may as well know that I held the same position about Northern Ireland for many years, condemning the hatred and violence on both sides because hatred and violence is wrong. In that case I have always been particularly forthright with those claiming to be protestants and unionists because by appropriating to themselves beliefs and positions I also hold they implicate me in their crimes and their hatred. I can therefore well understand those Jews who rail against the state of Israel and its evils and am somewhat alarmed at how seldom I have ever heard any arab, let alone a palestinian condemning the appaulingly corrupt leadership and gangsterism which has been largely responsible for reducing them to abject poverty and unending war. That those in the EU who would try to govern my country would fund and arm those gangsters with my taxes makes me :mad::mad: and I don't feel any better about the ignorant :wtf: moron   zionist 'christians' in the US distorting US foreign policy and shovelling money and arms at godless warmongering racists who laugh about it behind their hands all because they can't tell the difference between the modern atate of Israel and 'The people of God'. Frankly I'm not sure which leadership is worse, the Palestinians political one or the US religious one. So please don't accuse me of sitting on the fence I just tore down, stamped on and set fire to. ;)

I'd ask you to withdraw that in lieu of actually pointing out anything I've posted which can reasonably be considered nonsense or anti-American but your capacity for being resonable is not exactly legendary around here. You really want to pick your targets a little more carefully as I've hinted in the past. Questioning my Christianity without a very good reason is going to be really hard to back up, discourage me from bailing you out when you get out of your depth and can only end in me having to forgive you. I really don't think your reputation needs that kind of embarassment, do you?

73DipStick, the Liar-in-Chief for all the Great Scientific "Minds" of CP's SoapBox will, of course, never actually admit that he caught his own tits in the wringer[^]. But that's OK ... *I* know it, *he* knows it (and knows that I know it), and anyone not a complete moron (and I seriously doubt there are any of those around here) knows it.

Why do you keep linking to your mistake? Are you proud of it? Everyone knows you don't understand the topic or the paper you linked to. Stop lying about me and stop lying about understanding the paper since you don't. You've been caught lying about 10+ times now (I've actually lost track). Liars always get caught. Didn't your parents teach you that? They probably did, but since you're a habitual liar the lesson didn't take.

Oh this is splendid. I really, really pissed you off! Too easy... Tell me how bad does it sting? Does it sting even worse now that you realize your lies didn't extricate you? Does it sting even more because you try and try and you still don't understand? What's it like?

We *all* know that you caught your own tits in the wringer. We *all* know that your pathetic attempt to "humiliate" me backfired. We also all know that you and your Amen Chorus will never actually admit that it backfired. But that's a different matter.

You seem to be the only one of that opinion.
