      Can you not check Google for the answer? It may depend on what your audience is; in the US it's Persian Gulf.

        it's the "Persian Gulf" I used the CIA World Fact Book map as my reference. (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ir.html[^][^])

            Arabs will argue that it is called the Arabian Gulf. In fact, there isn't an Arab country that will refer to it as the Persian Gulf. Historically speaking it was first named the Persian Gulf then the Arabian Gulf.

                            Oh, well then that MUST be 100% accurate - everyone else is wrong..... For me, it's always just been "The Gulf", but then, I'm nowhere near Mexico lol
