Son leave it. Let the thread die. If you keep quiet long enough and don't try to be a jackass, Leckey will remove you from the list.

Imagine that you are hired to build a bridge over a river. The river gets slightly wider every day; sometimes it shrinks but nobody can predict when. Your contract says you can't use concrete or steel - the client only provides timber and cut stone (but won't tell you what kind). Gravity changes from hour to hour, as does the viscosity of air. Your only tools are a hacksaw, a chainsaw, a rubber mallet, and a length of rope. Welcome to my world. -Me explaining my job to an engineer

There's not one name on that list I recognise. Looks like a lot of effort has gone into it, its even alphabetical! It amazes me that in the lounge, a forum dedicated to programmers, the longest discussions are always the personal attacks.

Yeah, I'm thinking the one mistake out of how many posts...he has maybe one out of 200 that are correct. I'm actually compiling the data now.

I have a blog for those with a sense of humor. The codeword is "scuttlebutt." http://craptasticnation.blogspot.com/[^]
