A question for anyone expert in XL

I open up a spreadsheet that was created by a macro from a Master Spreadsheet that acts as, amongst other things, a database. Since some of the data was lifted from other worksheets in the Master, then copied into the newer 'summarised' spreadsheet, the top of the screen gives a warning. SECURITY WARNING : Automatic updates of links has been disabled [OPTIONS] Is there a way of turning off this warning as it is unnecessary and annoying? I have gone looking, and googled, but nothing that helps has yet wend it's way passed my eyes. Suggestions anybody?

I am on 2007, no TOOLS, I use the Ribbon>Developer>Macro Security. There is and External Content section. Security Settings for Data and Workbook. I have the option of turning off all data connections and workbook links, but I only want to cut the link off Upward, as I need information in the 'Summarised' workbook to link downward into a costing spreadsheet. I want the warning DISABLED, I don't want the security message every time. Does that make sense? Is it Possible even?

Thanks, that got it! I knew it had to be a link problem, I was looking at it through the external data commands, not a worksheet command! (That, I suppose is why I couldn't get an adequate google answer) Cheers for that.
