I've spent enough time in Aus to no longer find roos cute. They are the US equivalent of a stupid deer. The cowboys already took over--even girls at my school chewed tobacco.

Since cowboys were some of the first settlers (after NATIVE AMERICANS) we can't really kick them out. If you consider cowboys equal with farmers/ranchers then we need them in SD for the economy. If they would only cull the deer in the area; we have a hunting season but it seems like every day I see at least 2 new dead deer on the road on the way to work.

So far my day has been really odd. I got to my office, and hopped in the lift. Pressed the button to go to my floor. The doors closed, i waited, the doors opened... where i left from... it never moved!! So I used the stairs. Got into my office and all the internet was down. I walked up to all my ADSL routers planning to restart them, and got there just in time to see them all come up again. Noone else was there to restart them and they had been down for about 7hrs. So anyway.. I make my coffee and sit down at my desk, then my phone rings... Its my flat mate telling me that my neighbour just stole my dog.... who the hell steals a dog?? And this is all in the first hour of my work day. What else could happen to out do all this (especially the stolen dog.. i mean come on.. get your own dog!!)?!? [Update]Well I got my dog back (after getting the police involved) and my neighbour has been told not to enter my yard again, and then the police pretty much told me if I wanted to take it further, he would have a stronger case then me. :wtf: :wtf: I dont know why, if he comes into my yard uninvited and takes my dog, how he would have the stronger case. But their suggestion to me was to make sure my dog was tied up  Also the lift apparently started working a few min after I had tried to use it  [/update]

Why would he/she risk such an easily identified theft? Wow! :omg:

Who the hell steals a dog from their neighbour? :wtf: And how could that creep have a stronger case than you?

          Cheers, Vikram.

People here steal dogs to be used either as bait in dog fights, or to be sold to labratories for testing.

Well thankfully that doesnt happen here much. My neighbor has been letting him out and calling the pound, but I think he got sick of the pound not catching my dog, and has probably taken him there himself

Put a Dr. Evil laser on your pups head and watch the fun when he comes into the yard. or... Connect a series of 12volt batteries to the fence and watch him try to enter the yard. or... teach the pup how to shot a pistol.

I'd be three kinds of pi**ed if a neighbor stole my pet. Get your dog a 'flatmate' in the form of either a 1) German Shepherd 2) a Rottweiler or 3) Pit Bull. That might stop the thievery! Electric fences work well too! :wtf:

What does an agnostic, dyslexic, insomniac do? He lies awake at night wondering if there's a dog.
