That's pretty impressive! I wonder what their business model is? Do they throw in ads when you use it?

      Best wishes, Hans

According to the blerg, it's "free while still in beta". Wait for the e-kerching of the cash-register...

They have other good offerings in the bouquet. A few are: 1) Writer (Word) 2) Spreadsheets (Excel) 3) Show (Powerpoint) 4) Notepad (like Yahoo Notepad)

I have been using Zoho Writer. I haven't seen any ads. The support forum is also good and some of the Zoho developers participate to answer your queries and clarifications. But be warned that the resolution in the Zoho forum, sometimes takes ages to come.

Did you try LogMeIn? If so, did you have bad experiences? I've been using LogMeIn, the free version, and it seems fine. [edit] Ah, nevermind. I see, Zoho is more like a webinar thingy, not just sharing a desktop between two people. [/edit] Marc

My only concern in using the free versions or even the paid versions is that we have to make sure of the trustworthiness of the company particularly when we use it for our corporate (official) purposes in order to satisfy our client requirements. We can not afford to tradeoff client data and jeopardize the relationship with them to save a penny.

They can not, anyway totally abandon the masses from the free when they move out of beta. Gone are those days of NetAddress USA.NET, which did this long time back. They may bring a cut-down version for free and an unrestricted version for premium. What do you say?

They have tons of stuff that is free for limited use (number of users or files or something like that) and then you can pay. Their stuff does not seem that bad either.

Yeah, I had found a few one-to-one systems for free.. I needed a one-to-many system. I tried Mikogo and Yugma... Mikogo kept giving me errors (invalid input parameters) when I tried to start a session (I suspect it because I have 4 monitors) and then Yugma would not even install (I suspect because I have XP x64 edition) but I gave up on Yugma since it was only free for 14 days anyway. Now if Zoho would integrate with Skype it would be perfect...

Yo don't. You click the link to log in via your Google ID and then they pass you on to the Google web site and request that they authenticate you for their site.

Thanks. I tried this a couple hours ago. Although I needed to create an account on that site. Maybe because of Firefox 3 with disabled cookies... Seems good ;)
