Kudos to the person (people) writing the snarky comments in the newsletter

I especially liked the comment a few days back under the "Microsoft talks up using printers to make drugs" where the comment was "Mostly Maui Waui man, but it's got some Labrador in it" which made me think of the rest of the conversation going on after that comment, which made me laugh. Now I just have to remember if it came off one of the albums or from one of the movies (and I won't tell you where it came from if you don't know - ask or research - the fun is in the discovery and the listening). The Maui Waui comment tends to give away the authors age . . . or maybe they just know the classics. Russell
That's Kent Sharkey. There's rarely a day he doesn't make me laugh.
Cheers, Vikram.

:) Thank you for this. I've felt like I've been having a bit of a rough patch on the newsletter, and getting this made my day. Not sure if it was on one of the albums. I vaguely recall it was, but I pulled that from the movie. The other thing I noticed when I went looking for the exact quote is that the movie is almost 30 years old. (At least Tommy Chong is still going strong[^], even if Cheech did go corporate) ;)

Yeah, I just saw Cheech on Lost last night. Keep up the good work. I sometimes wonder how you make the connection between the headline and the comment, but they are always good connections.

We recently had a new guy start named James Walker. If you have ever seen the 70's show Good Times, you'll recognize the actor JJ Walker and his signature line of DY-NO-MIIIIITE! Everyone kept saying that when Jim started. I was like, yeah, I'm sure he's never heard that one before. But I found ironic that the person who started the thread used the term snarky.

Well, picking up this thread again . . . you are showing your age with the "And they told two friends, and so on, and so on." That will go right past the youngsters around here. I'm 44 and you must be in about the same range to remember that commercial.

Yeah - trying to not let the boob tube rot my kids' brains. The snarky comment that could have been: 16 hot roles for IT pros Careful, hot roles can turn into rot holes
