I just hate giving online support to people. The latest is somebody my wife is now chatting with. She says that AVG antivirus changes color(gets inactivated) when she enters some page in Multiply, and wants to know why? Is the page virus infected? jhaga

You might want to remove the advertising from your signature. Some people find this offensive (and nobody is going to click this anyway).

If he was making post only for the purpose to show link in his signature, he would be breaking them, but he isn't.

Until now it has been free to put almost anything in the signature. I would advice you to let Chris and the other admins here take care of this. jhaga

Whatever. I still can't see how this is not advertising.

It doesn't bug me enough to make the effort.

It is advertising. The unwritten rule here, though, is that it's OK so long as it's in your signature. Lots of the regular "big names" here advertise their products, blogs, websites etc. in their sigs and have for years. Not that I entirely agree with it, but that's the way it is. Cheers, Drew.

I suppose what caught my attention is the "scam" nature of the line. It looks like on of the subject lines of the many many emails I get every day.

Ok, I get it! I have changed the text to be less "scam" like. jhaga

Then report it as offensive and let it go. You haven't been appointed a net-nanny.
