    i want to convert the scanned text in tif to doc. so can anyone tell me which is the best tif to doc convertor. now, i m using abbyy finereader. but it is showing many spelling mistakes. so, someone pls help me.

      Finereader is pretty good at OCR. Not sure what you're looking for but there is no magic that removes spelling mistakes from the source.

            Readsoft[^], Nuance[^] and Cardiff[^] are companies that comes to my mind. I wouldn't be able to tell you who's the best though, but Readsoft is the biggest in invoice processing while Nuance is the biggest in OCR. Cardiff (Teleform) used to be specialized in hard to read faxed forms.
