My company just installed MS Office 2007 in all the PCs. In Outlook 2007 you can read RSS feeds - this one is the coolest feature till now I discovered in 07. Kudos to all MS guyz.

Yeah - I like that I can keep my RSS feeds the same place as my e-mails Keeps it simpler for me, because prior to that I ran a feed program. Now I do not need the extra program.

Wow - what a great reason to upgrade. Spend all that time and effort to install Office for RSS.

Nah, I like Office 2007 for several reasons, Outlook being lowest on the list, if it features at all.  I spend an hour cursing and swearing last night trying to figure out grouping in an Access report, but after discovering how it works I'm impressed.  For me to be impressed with something in Access is rare.  Word and Excel 2007 just rock.

Don't get me wrong - I like most of Office 2007. I really, really, really dislike Outlook though - how hard would it have been for somebody in Microsoft to realise that there should be some threading instead of locking up the bloody interface while it goes off and runs the function ExtremelySlowUpdate(int timeInDecadesToComeBackWithNewEmails)?

We'll be getting Office 2007 in maybe 2012*. Firefox has been supporting RSS feeds forever and a day. * But the Mayan calendar ends in 2012! :omg:

            Cheers, Vikram.

I've been using Office 07 Pro for about a year now and it does kick butt. The tool bars at the top are awesome, makes everything easy to find. I can hardly use 03 now it's so clunky.

If you upgrade Office to 2K7 because of Outlook you need a smack on the head. If you upgrade to Office 2K7 anyway, it is nice that Outlook can keep RSS feeds now, if you want to use it. One doesn't mean because of the other.......

Hence this being the last year of profit for those producing 5-year planners for the Mayan calendar market :)

All of Outlooks problems are caused by it not having a ribbon.

Didn't know that. BTW, does it integrate with Windows Search? I can't seem to find this info on their website.
