About an image conversion tool [modified]

Hi, Can anyone please suggest any RGB (three channels) image to grayscale (one channel) image conversion tool?

Paint .NET is free. But something that trivial can be written in minutes.

In menu Adjustments -> Black and White (Ctrl + Shift + G)

I think "Black and white" means change that image into 0 and 1, and I actually need grayscale (one channel) image. Any way thanks for sharing so valuable tool. :)

Hey, haven't you tried it? That feature in Paint .NET really does greyscale images, even if the name is a bit uninspired. You're welcome.
