Yeah, we're all saying "Only an idiot would actually reply to that moron." Oh, wait....

No, you see, I already made fun of myself for replying to you. That means that you have to find something different to call me names about.
-
Nope. I did so too. Though the thing about "images" got me a bit puzzled. Guess we both need that holiday!

Stunning Pics! Yes it is a very good time to be a space nerd. I was actually in florida for a VBits convention when Cassini launched. Myself and 3 other devs did the midnight run from orlando to cape canaveral to see a very early launch. And now we see the fruits of that launch. Thanks for the link.

His only retort is "I know you are but what am I." He is a complete idiot and you will go nuts trying to talk to him because you just keep wondering how anyone could be so clueless.

I won't go nuts. I might do a little rolling on the floor (while laughing, of course), but I'm not really trying to convince him of anything - just seize hold of the comedic opportunity that presents itself (to take easy potshots at a passing moron - comedic gold, I tell you). I guess I'm OCD when it comes to not passing up such an easy target. By the way, did you know that the Internet doesn't really exist either? It's all a hoax. Ooh, I should make a website about it! :)

I don't know why people keep feeding the King of the Idiots.

He makes a good pet. Mom, can I keep him? Ooh, now I'm thinking about Kids in the Hall....

Stunning. I grew up building models of the Apollo Saturn V, LEM and command module, and watched them walk on the moon via a small black & white TV with rabbit ears (no bunny jokes, please). I wonder if people today have become so accustomed to images like this that they just take it for granted. For myself, I still have to pinch myself at the wonder of being able to see vivid pictures of Saturn's moons, the surface of Mars and other such incredible sights.

I understand what you are saying. I watched the same fantastic moments on the same B&W tv. Today, I am still amazed by what we do and the incredible results that are produced. Now, I pinch myself every time a fantastic picture, taken millions of miles from here, end up as my screen background in a matter of days or hours. We may be doing thinks wrong, but sometimes, humans are truly creating good things. Pierre Boucher
