Your bulls eye is from the 'how many posts do I need make to get silver' post you made when you first showed up, and the fact that you've yet to make a single post with any value in it, just puddle after puddle of drool to get your post count up, and then more puddles complaining that it's unfair that everyone is disgusted with your slobbering all over the lounge. Edit: The delusions of grandeur in your sig isn't helping you case either.

GetDataBackNTFS from Runtimesoftware.org. Used it a dozen or more times.

If you're actually asking for real advise... I'd recommend starting by cutting your total posting volume by about 90%, and limiting yourself to the most humorous/insightful fraction of your current volume. In order to gain a positive reputation at this point you're going to have to stay well above the average post quality for a while. That means cutting the lower quality/filler type posts entirely.

No, I'm talking about the cerebral capacity to recognize the need for regular backups. Are you really that stupid?

I know you mean well but I don't think there is anything to work with, it's just 500+ puddles of drool.

He asked, and while his average (both mean and median) is probably the lowest in the lounge (some soapbox trolls are worse), not all of his posts are worthless. http://www.codeproject.com/script/Forums/View.aspx?fid=1159&msg=2584804[^]

I've used TestDisk[^] in the past and successfully recovered almost all the data from a USB memory stick that windows suddenly started reporting as totally empty.

testdisk[^] from cgsecurity is a good open source alternative but they lack user friendliness over functionality. :( testdisk works on GUID partition table and i think it is the only data recovery tool works on GUID partition table. whereas other utilities is concerned i think http://www.sysinfotools.com/[^] FAT & NTFS recovery is exceptional. its GUI is impressive and packed with other functionalities and it support wooooping 150 file formats for viewing recovered data. i think one should try it in case of any emergency. at least i got helped a lot by this tool.
