Is it just me or is Amazon down for everyone?

Well - not really, I just wanted to increase your level of paranoia. Amazon's ok here in the UK.

That really needs to be in a song, preferably with a pounding bass line, kicking drums and a great guitar riff. "It's OK in the UK. 24 hour drinking. Party time. Country sinking but it's OK in the UK."

Dude, this is not Eurovision! :)

That was better than Eurovision. I was thinking more of 80s Pomp Rock (possibly Europe could sing it).

I defer to your experience of all things naff - I haven't watched the Eurovision since... crikey, a long, long time ago :)

I'm pleased to say I've never seen the Eurovision. I did have the dodgy 80s glam rock hairstyle though. Oh yes - I also had the spandex. *Shudders* Those are pictures that are never ever going to see the light of day again.

Frankly, I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a pair of sharpened hamsters than watch the Eurovision. My screams of agony would sound better. Waterloo - horror. That german bird with the hairy armpits - the pain. Dear god, they had Cliff Richards on it apparently; that's how bad it is. Now, if it featured music like All Right Now, Hells Bells or Run To The Hills then I might actually want to listen.

Ah ha! But how could you possibly know that without actually having experienced it? M'lud, the prosecution rests.

No he didn't. He fought off conscription in two world wars. I will cop to being a heartless git though.
