Which culture/tribe would you like to have been born into?

I'm quite happy being English. However, the poorest and worst educated people I've met seem to be happiest... Maybe next time I could be a Masai or Aboriginal, please :)

I’d like to be an Ichirgu Boil/this is something similar to general/ in the Bulgarian medieval cavalry! Shiny armor, sharp sword and a long spear – the chicks are dieing for this kind of thinks.

I'm happy being a Maharashtrian, but the Sentinelese[^] are fascinating.
Cheers, Vikram.

My latest book : C++/CLI in Action / Amazon.com linkDespite the fact that my surname is totally un-Bong-like and totally Maharashtrian sounding, you've asked me this before.
Cheers, Vikram.

Nothing to do with your surname really. I couldn't differentiate between Maharashtrian and Bong names anyway. I remember talking to you a few years back on the phone and I remember you telling me you were not Tamil - and then I believe you told me you were Maharashtrian, but for some reason Bong stuck in my mind :-) I'll remember from now. Btw are Maharashtrians and Marathis related in any way?
Regards, Nish
