            1. Never tried Opera, I have no reason to try it either. 2. My browser of choice; better UI than IE. 3. I hate the UI, why put the menu where it's not standard, 4. Safari, at every new release of Safari (on Mac) I try it, maybe next version will be ok (it misses a few nice FF touches).

Read this Browser Comparison[^] and decide yourself. Its not up-to-date but it's nice technical comparison. In summary I found one line: Opera seems to be the fastest browser for Windows. Firefox is not faster than Internet Explorer

Bad analogy. I am not saying all browsers are programmed in C++ so use any one. I am saying just like any other thing in this world no browser is perfect. So just like you would wear cloths you feel comfortable in use a browser you like. -Saurabh

For me the only usable browsers are 1 and 2 because they have unix versions and I use linux on the desktop for at least as much time as I use windows (about 6hrs each per work day)..

Waste of time. People can't be persuaded from their favourite browser. Most are indifferent and just use whatever happens to be the default on their system.

Took me a while to take to gestures. First discovered them ages ago in Opera. But only started using them a few months ago in IE7 via the IE7Pro add-in. Then downloaded the Mouse Gestures add-on for Firefox. Now I'm hooked and use them whichever browser I'm using (I use all three).

IE6 / 7 - I use it because there is no reason to use anything else. It just works. It always works. Additionally, I am not stupid, so even without anti-virus/malware, I very very very rarely ever become a victim of a browser based exploit/phishing intrusion. And in the very, very, very rare circumstamces when I do have to deal with one of these, I treat it as a learning experience so that when someone I know calls me up having the same problem, I know where to start.
