So, for those of you in employment (i.e. not working for yourselves) what hours do you work? Personally, as few as possible :) But I normally do from about 7:30 am through unil 3:30 - 4:00 pm

My contract states 37.5 hours, which traditionally means 9:00 am - 5:30 pm with a 1 hour lunch break. However, I tend to start at 7:30 am and leave between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. I miss the traffic that way, plus it's nice and quiet before 9:00 am.

wake up around 6:00 AM, get to work by 9:00 AM, work until 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM (working thru lunch) and then I sometimes take work home with me and usually get to bed around 1:00 AM  ... I take naps on the weekends ...

That's painful only to think about it... How do you cope with that? They must pay you really well in order to steal your life away. No offense, but that's how it looks like.

My 5 This stress makes me mad. It’s not about my inability to do a work. I can do it but I need a minimal time. My boss is unable to think about it. I am not a money making machine. Job satisfaction is very important. PS. I am planning to escape into a jungle and find my cave to live.

Normal working day for me is up at 6:30, coffee, breakfast with family and coffee, and leave for work around 7:30. Arrive 8:15, coffee, work, coffee, [repeat ad nauseam] finnishing at 5:00. When I get home, it's cooking dinner - except when we have Hungarian food which Mrs Wife does - bathing the children, eating, bedtime stories/tantrums/play fights. By nine, the rest of the day is mine!

Panic, Chaos, Destruction. My work here is done.

From about 7h30 to 17h00 - 17h30 although it can run out a little depending on the work. Last two weeks I worked 140 - 150 hours (in two weeks time) but that was exceptional ;-)

Usually about 9 till 17:30 with 30 mins for lunch which is the minimum, maybe around 8 till 19:30 near a release. Guy opposite me does around 60 hours a week but isn't paid any extra.
