What on Earth were they thinking when they added that expanding, jiggling, hard-to-keep-open fly out menu. X|

I resisted as long as I could ('NO, I don't want to use your beta, damn you, MSDN'), but ultimately had to succumb - bleh, it sucks. Try navigating to Windows XP downloads - takes frikkin ages!!!

I agree with Chris. It is annoying. I am sure that the person that redesigned the page said "Oooh! Look! Fly out menus! Ain't that cool code?"

In all seriousness...when was the last time MS has made any change of any kind on the MSDN site and end users haven't complained(*) about how "the old way" was better? 1998? (*) rightfully or not...

I remember when you would MOCK the Blackberry.... Sadly, I am in line for an iPhone. I need one to test an iPhone app, which is an add on to our cool new Mac product, which runs on the Mac, which I love at least as much as I will despise my iPhone.

Used one yourself for any length of time? Just curious. I have one and its the best mobile digital device I've ever used. Getting the 2.0 one this Friday.

I was reading that, expecting "when was that last time Marc Clifton hasn't complained". ;) Marc

That's probably what happened - everyone looked at the Beta, went, "WTF is this s***?" and ignored it. They then took that as, "no negative feedback!" and went and deployed it anyway.
