Well... I guess it's true, what they say about folks that know the words to Pointer Sisters songs...

Well, no, I wasn't aware that they said anything at all about folk who know some words to Pointer Sisters songs. Though, I will admit that, even being quite unaware of what they say, I am confident that you've many times before heard it.

Naw, well before my time. I can, however, stumble through a few "The Brothers Four" numbers if you feel like doing a sing-along...

All this time, has the key to understanding "the community" (to use Mr Maunder's memorable term for you kiddies) been right before me, and I just *wouldn't* bring myself to see it? Is it that, in the mortal words of the Pointer Sisters "You. Are. Fam-i-leee?" Is it that no matter where you happen to stick your dicks, "the community" are actually a Coterie of Cranky Queens? (*) (see here[^] through here[^]) "Family" I like that. "Dude! That's so family!" (*) If I understand "family-speak" on this point, the technical term is more like "bunch of bitter old bitchy queens," but I don't speak "family," and I like the alliteration of my phrase.

Don't you worry your little head about it. You just keep hanging out over there, and we'll drive the snipe right into your bag.

We both know that you're hoping and hoping for the perfect opportunity to use the all-purpose "family" come-back. Hmmm, it's kind of the only one, isn't it? So much for that touted and vaunted wittiness.

I have no idea what you are talking about. It appears you are just babling away to yourself, anyway. Why don't you go back to writing about how much you don't care when everyone votes you a one? That was really funny.

An old theaterhand like you? And you really expect others to believe you don't know what all-purpose "family" put-down[^] I'm talking about? I suppose you need to ditch the cat, first, before you can try to pull that off.

Actually, I think the true key to understanding how the other people on the forum feel about you lies in one of your many Bette Midler CDs. If a careful review of all her lyrics in your possession doesn't produce any results, try consulting other local fan club members. Hope this helps.

Oddly enough, I don't have a single one. My CD collection runs in the direction of Christian music.

While I'm not exactly surprised, I still suspect there's a Bette Midler fan inside you, just waiting to be let out of the closet.

And I expect that your inner Bette Midler fan never, while no doubt possessing a fabulous wardrobe, has never seen a closet from the inside. So, where does that leave us, "family-man?" And, like the the rest of the girls, you need to make up your mind. You want to "accuse" me of being a Bette Midler fan, and then you want to cluck with self-satisfaction because I am not ... while still "suspecting" that I really must be.

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm happily straight, and married for 18 years (although I do think jeans and tee shirts are fabulous, and it means a lot to me that you share that opinion). You, on the other hand, repeatedly refer to other men as "my pet", write like the effeminate love child of Larry Craig and Mr. Burns, and actually put effort into making up your own gay slang. You know, if you'd only give them a chance, I bet you'd love Coldplay.

So *that's* what you were on about with all your Bette Midler sashaying -- you were mincing around your attempted insinuation that I am "gay." You poor "family-guy" -- just can't make up your mind, can you? Am I too stupid to see what's in front of me, or am I such a nuancy-boy that I "get it" about "family-jokes?" Is "digtial man's" "joke" just about the worst thing ever, or is it howlingly funny when you "family-guys" engage in a running "family-discussion" about me?

And now, in apparent disapointment that mere insinuation didn't have the desired effect, you seem to be trying the slightly more direct approach of recommending this or that (apparently) "family-friendly" (apparently) music(*). You "family-guys" are forever trying to convert others! You must have a huge faith-investment in "family-music" ... Hell! Even I would never imagine that just listening to, say, Amy Grant (be still, my racing heart, even after all these years), would convert you to Christianity. (*) I have no idea what/who Coldplay is.

This community would be quite pleased to see trash like yourself depart for good. Go find a place that welcomes gutter mouthed trolls, you're not wanted here.

This community would be quite pleased to see trash like yourself depart for good. Go find a place that welcomes gutter mouthed trolls, you're not wanted here.

Remarkable. You're actually still smarting over being caught out falling for DXM-head's little impersonation trick. And it bothers you so much that now you are imagining that all those who found that funny (if a bit pitiful) are gay and somehow envious of you. (weird that you would think anyone would be envious of such a childish immature troll as yourself). No one envy's you, stupid. We all despise you. You are beneath contempt.

... and so unreflective, so lacking in nuance. And yet, so phychic (but, that's a "family" trait, isn't it?), and borderline psychotic.

An old theaterhand like you? And you really expect others to believe you don't know what all-purpose "family" put-down[^] I'm talking about? I suppose you need to ditch the cat, first, before you can try to pull that off.

Y'know, Ilion, every couple of months or so, you start making all these suggestive remarks about and to me - like you're hoping I'm gay. So let me, once again make it clear: 1. I am not gay. 2. Even if I was, I wouldn't let you get within ten feet of me. 3. If you ever took out your dick in front of me, I'd cut it off and make you eat it before you bled to death. So it's pretty much a waste of time for you to keep cybernetically sniffing around my asshole, cause you'll never get any closer to your fantasies about me than you are at this moment. Are we clear now?
