I've finally come to the conclusion that a couple of Bud's at lunchtime and the awesome sun outside are not motivators to working :)
We had a 16C day yesterday - perfect blue sky, almost a warm breeze, the daffodils are flowering and the days are getting longer. Spring is coming. ...and I'm organising flights over to Canada to spend another winter there. :(( cheers, Chris Maunder

Well, you won't enjoy my country's climat either. You are complaining about 32 C, what about 42 C? Best regards, Alexandru Savescu

Stop it! You're making me jealous. 32C is a nice warm day. 42C is a good hot summer. OK - now I'm really depressed... cheers, Chris Maunder

Chris Maunder wrote: We had a 16C day yesterday Wow, whereabouts in Oz are you? One of my buddies from Uni is doing a little tour with his girlfriend, hopefully its not deadly cold everywhere! I'm longing for a cooler day again. Our office has no air conditioning (how backward can you get :) so when its hot outside it can get to 30C! Now, that heat, coupled with sunshine outside and beer inside you really does push you to the limits :)

Come on, how can you enjoy weather like that? Anything over 27C and I find it unbearable. I love nice sunny days though, when there's a nice cool breeze about to keep me cool and I can wander down the beach on my bike. Ahhh. :) Simon "This is an equal opportunities airline. The sunshine here is a great work motivator! At >40C with heavy overcast and humidity that makes ones socks mouldy, there is little incentive to go outside at all. Alas, Bud is not available in the vending machine, else I'd stay at work round the clock:-) "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "Recursion." "Recursion who?" "Knock, knock..."

It always catches me off guard at first when I read about cold weather during a horridly hot summer here. It's 89 degrees outside right now (Charlotte, NC) at 11:23AM heading for the mid 90's with high humidity that makes it feel like a muggy 105. Bleh. COME ON WINTER!!!!;P

Paul Ingles wrote: Wow, whereabouts in Oz are you? Canberra. We've been having -6C at night, 12-14C during the day. Perfect blue sky, no wind. Winters in Canberra are great (though I guess not as great as Winters in Darwin - 32C every day, blue sky...sigh). Just had some fronts go through so most of the south-east is rainy and wet. Looks like I'll get another chance to field-test the CodeProject snowboard :D cheers, Chris Maunder
