Whew...

I'm totally wiped out. My two girls are asleep on the floor at my feet but we all made it. I don't know the vernacular in your region but it was a kicker. I pretty much stand the gap for my kids in *EVERY* case and they know it. When the world falls apart I'm the one that catches it and glues it. So naturally both of them insist I carry them in ( at the same time ). They both came into post-op within minutes and demanded me. I had to hold both of them in each arm for about 30 minutes. It was worth it they both are hurting right now but at least they are home. So we survived day one and I am paved. Hopefully we catch up. Thanks to all of you for the support. It was great! All in all they are all safe. Time to sleep. You guys totally rock!:rose:

My 11 year old is home today recovering from an adenoidectomy. Ice cream, pudding, and TV. A tough life. Hey code-frog, I know my son's surgery was minor stuff. Glad everthing worked out OK for your kids. That's what parents are for - everything we do is for them, and we love it.

Good to hear yours is doing well too. I also had my adenoids out at the same time as the tonsils. Supposed to cure snoring, but my wife will attest that it doesn't :-)

I've been away a few days and I've just read back to the previous post. Had I been around and known, your girls would have had been in my prayers. My two angel monsters are about the same ages, six and three, but we have had nothing in comparison to your experience. We've had two visits to emergency and a planned adanoid [chick spilling] op and that was enough thanks. I really feel for you and your girls and you will all be in my prayers. Good luck and God Bless. :rose: :rose: Now go and get a HUGE quantities of ice-cream for when the girls need it.
Panic, Chaos, Destruction. My work here is done.

That's great news that all went well. Have been thinking about your little ones and wondering how they were doing. What a good daddy you are. :rose:
