For some reason I just can't find any online info on how to write Thuderbird add-on's no matter the search terms I only seem to find the add on's themselves and pages about the add-on's. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

I presume the whole chrome framework is the same as Firefox - in which case the FF add on docs may be a good starting point. Either way, if you find an add on that has interesting functionality, try and unpack the xpi to see how they wrote it. I've done a few FF addons, but have yet to get into Thunderbird addons. Will be interested in hearing about your experience.

It's the same as Firefox extensions, just with mail involved.

I will write their next hit, maybe 'A boom-boom chiky chiky boom-boom a boom-boom chiky chaka chaka cho cho.' By the way, you must beware of Betty's iron claw. They are sharp, and they hurt. Peter, it's too early in the day for such bitter irony. Please refrain from this until later in the afternoon. Thanks, The Mgt.
