You're the only person on earth using Opera, so I say that's the issue.

I looked at Opera when it was like version 5, and that was the last time

I and a *lot* of other people would beg to differ.

I notice FF 3.1 is playing catch-up with Opera on tab management. http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&articleId=9110479&source=rss_news50 [^] I use both browsers btw. :)

It's worth having as an alternative even though FF is my primary browser. Latest Opera is quite slick. Plus Opera has generally been the browser innovator. FF copies and popularises some time later. However, I still find FF's usability/features to be better overall.

FF is the way to go. CPHog is sweet around here, and so is Diego's KillTroll script he created to block out certain Soapboxers.

Greasemonkey is one of those apps that is very difficult to "sell" to other techies. It's difficult to describe it without trying it. I was aware of Greasemonkey for at least a year before discovering what all the fuss was about. I can't recall what the trigger was in the end. FF is a bit like this as well. 1. It's difficult to persuade people of its merits beyond its having tabs. IE 7 has tabs ergo no reason for FF seems to be the line. 2. Even many of those who do use FF don't bother with any extensions and it's difficult to persuade them of the merits of these too!
