Oh boy I was out too last night, I was as rough as a badger arse this morning, but managed to haul my carcass into work somehow! Half a bottle of full fat coke and BLT sandwich has made a hell of a difference!

Not a fricking clue! (as usual) A Bum - homeless, hobo, tramp, bottom? Red - Maroon? Rouge? (with - could this indicate joining two words together?) agitation by a metal instrument - whisk, stir, beat? (Enter it - could this indicate that a word is inside another?) disappear - vanish, hide, hid, invisible? Are any of these on the right lines? [Edit: Ahh, "A Bum, Red, with agitation by a metal instrument" could this be caning or spanking, smacking? How about sore, or tender? Still clueless :laugh: ]

A Bum Red is the important bit, with agitation indicates and anagram. by, means it (the word) sits next to the next part of the clue. A metal instrument. Name an instrument made of metal.(think musically) Enter it and disappear... Self evident when you get the first part! Does that help>?
