I think CP might as well get rid of the Coding Horrors and/or Subtle bugs board. The boards are both a horror (not necessarily a coding horror or subtle bug ;) ). The majority of the posts are either people posting programming questions, requests for the complete source code for whatever, or those posting flames for posting to the wrong forum. It's a real curiosity on what logic or what steers these folks the Coding Horrors page to post programming questions. Could it be that just because they don't know how to do "whatever" it's a coding horror or subtle bug? But then again, many people are just looking for a "quick answer" and don't even bother with Googling or even the search feature here on CP. Perhaps the "DO NOT POST PROGRAMMING QUESTIONS HERE" needs to be displayed in several different languages (one specific language comes to mind)... To keep politically correct I won't say which one I'm thinking about ("It's urgent --" and reposting the same question every 5 minutes expecting some kind of answer).

What steers flies to fly tape, or slugs to beer? Perhaps some creatures instinctively know when to die, and seek out an appropriate final resting place...

I've no worries about being PC, so i'll say it. The message should be restated as follows: "NO PRGRMMNG QSTNS HR, KTHXBAI!!1!"

They just need some simple moderation. Any forum with a decent amount of traffic needs moderation in this day and age.
