I'm heading off to Port Elizabeth[^] with my girlfriend to give a talk at a local user group next month and was wondering something I've never really considered before: is it unromantic to pick a B&B that has WiFi?

I think it depends on the content that is going to be viewed using the WiFi ;P

What are the two most romantic animals on the farm? Brown-chicken-brown-cow. (Said to the bom-chicka-bow-bow musical bit.)

if your girlfriend surfs the wifi with you, then it "can" be as romantic as you both choose it to be or as unromantic as you choose it to be. If you avoid her using the wifi, then it will be a very unromantic trip, and possibly less romantic on your return too.

Yeah, that brings back memories! I tried to get my hubby to go to the local county fair. I always like to see the kids with their chickens and rabbits. I also like the horses; don't care so much to watch them show cattle or pigs. I don't think many show sheep anymore.

I don't much care for the guy who has been raising pigs professionally for 40 years, but the kid with his first pet animal entry I still enjoy though I am not a 4H type person. :)

No, don't see a problem with that.

It's only unromantic if she has a problem with it IMHO. If she complains that you're planning on not being away from the computer for the entire time, then you might have an issue..
