Well, have you noticed that almost all of the 'remove me' links don't work when listed in SPAM? :wtf: So I suppose they meet the anti spam laws by having a remove me link, but the links don't work! While other spammers take you to a website ASKING for your email address before they can remove it? Yes, like I am that stupid enough to actually give them my email address!

To explain Donald Knuth's relevance to computing is like explaining Paul's relevance to the Catholic Church. He isn't God, he isn't the Son of God, but he was sent by God to explain God to the masses.

It's worse than that - the remove me usually is a process whereby they verify email addresses. Have you ever had a spam selling 500,000 VERIFIED email addresses for spamming purposes ? Well, most spams I receive end with "This is not a SPAM... blablabla" Concussus surgo. When struck I rise.

‘Buy this product and block all telemarketers that have not paid us to access our restricted users. Or buy the plus package and block those callers too...’ Screw the phone company. Check out Enigma[^]. It’s a little work but I haven’t heard from MCI in three years ;).

Can't you just ask to be listed x-directory? It may take a year for your name to filter off the lists, but it is worth it - we have not had a single telemarketing call... ever.
