Linus to reveal Linux Source Code

Shock! Horror!
Reliable sources :suss: have informed us that Linus will be releasing the source code for that commie operating system Lin... bibamus, edamus, cras moriemur
[eat, drink, for tomorrow we die]
What would be funnier would be to say that Linus has announced that he'll be hiding vital chunks of the linux source code ;P -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

Even better: Linus selling the rights to the linux kernel to microsoft. Nice earner for him; great, stable code for them :-D bibamus, edamus, cras moriemur

Or: Linux independent code review found that crsscfxr.cpp, which claims to implement "cray super scalar function extension replacements", actually implements a VBScript interpreter, that reads in several source files in reverse, and, after some basic regexp business, apparently interprets them. The source files in question are encrypted and embedded in the binary by some clever macro tricks. So far we could confirm that most drivers rely on a VBScript shell. As well, most shell commands seem to fall back onto a VBScript implementation. Slashdot is in rage, but desperately points out that Linus' VB-Arrays can sort themselfes, which makes Linix far superior than the M$ucker$ implementation.

Hot on the much-discussed news that Microsoft1 will soon be releasing a few bits of Windows documentation by way of header files2, Linus Torvalds, infamous ringleader of the Anti-American Operating System development effort known as "Linux", has made it known that he too will be releasing source codes documenting portions of the Linux "kernel". In fact, it is rumoured that in a despicable attempt to preempt Microsoft, he has *already* released the code3. So of course we are all properly upset about this attempt to slam MS. --- 1 Our Saviors. 2 Kings among Men, i say. 3 Nine years ago in fact. The sneaky bastard!

What is "scratch" and why can everything be made from it?
