                CHKDSK should do that for you.

                  I don't believe it's possible to remove them. There are a number of programs that work by finding them and marking them all as in use, so they never get used.

                    RMA. Send the drive back to the manufacturer. Well if it is under warranty that is. You should never see a single bad sector on any drive in made in the last 5 years or so unless it is going very bad. The reason is that drives already automatically remap bad sectors with good ones that they have as spares. So basically if you are seeing any bad sectors it means that all the millions of spare sectors are used up.

                        Get important data of it ASAP, then either RMA it, or throw it away.
