What games do you play?

If this weren't the lounge I'd say "Hide the salami" but since it is, I won't. Real answer; Half Life 2. Fun for a bit of stress release.
cheers, Paul M. Watson.
I had to stop playing that game as I got severe motion sickness each time I played it X| Which is a shame as it is such a great game.

We used to have 3 day lan parties and after a few hours glued to a monitor playing Quake or Duke Nukem we'd stand up and fall down with our first steps. It took a few minutes to get reorientated and not walk around like a foot soldier. I'm sure I'm permanently damaged in some ways but it sure was fun back then :) Never had motion sickness from a game though. A friend used to get it and we'd just frag his player till he recovered...
cheers, Paul M. Watson.

Oh yeah, Half Life 2 is nice too, so is Far Cry. Syed Mehroz Alam

I am fond of first person shooter games. I recently played Crysis, UT3, Gears of War, Call of Duty 4. Some of the my favorite ones that I still play are Quake 3 and UT 2004. What about you... Syed Mehroz Alam.

Hehe, that's the way! ;) I also heard only good things about Call of Cthulhu. It's inspired directly from the books of H.P. Lovecraft, one of the best (if not the best) horror authors ever.

I have recently bought Mario galaxy but havent played it yet. So its good them yeah? I did by Super Smash Bros but that was rubbish! Even though it got good reviews.
Mario galaxy is an awesome game I spent ages playing it because it is so enjoyable. I though smash bro's was good from what i've heard from reviews and my mates who have bought it. :~

The last two games I played were Battlefield II and Neverwinter Nights. Haven't touched them in a few months now though...

Yeah, I saw trailers for both of them. They both look nice, but I'm sure it won't run on my machine :(

I heard that Blizzard wants to launch Diablo 3 before Starcraft 2. So it might be delayed for next year :(... Hopefully, we'll see in stores this Christmas, though.
:sharpens some knives: It would be to their advantage not to postpone past Christmas :suss:

Nowadays I stick with FSX, or FS2004 with Kai Tak(9 dragons) landing practise, which is not really a game but is fun all the same. :)

FPS (Love Tactical FPS). Operation Flash Point , all time favorite. Others include Duke Nukem(Old ver), Ghost Recon. Played Prince of Persia a lot in 486 when I was a kid. Trying to get my hands on IGI. Just heard about Wii( Had to do Google to know what it was :-D ), is that so famous?? Here in Nepal , we don't use that much of consoles, hard to get games for those and very costly. PC the BEST.

About twenty to thirty minutes ago I just finished 'Portal' on XBOX360. Again. It's not that great, ya know, it's just, like... THE BEST GAME EVER! :omg: :) Anyone agree with me?

Yeah but for me I really need to buy a new computer for that. So, it will be quite expensive just to be able to play one game (for the rest, my PC is still perfectly fine). And you'll probably need some graphic card too in order for the game to be fluent.

"I'd just like to point out that you were given every opportunity to succeed. There was even going to be a party for you. A big party that all your friends were invited to. I invited your best friend the Companion Cube. Of course, he couldn't come because you murdered him. All your other friends couldn't come either because you don't have any other friends. Because of how unlikable you are. It says so here in your personnel file: Unlikable. Liked by no one. A bitter, unlikable loner whose passing shall not be mourned. 'Shall not be mourned.' That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you were adopted. So that's funny, too."      I looove Portal! :-D

Yeah, GlaDOS's taunts at the ending are great. Too bad there aren't many more games like it.
I know! It blew my mind! "Maybe you should marry that thing since you love it so much. Do you want to marry it? WELL I WON'T LET YOU! How does that feel?" "That thing you burned up isn't important to me. It's the fluid catalytic cracking unit. It made shoes for orphans. Nice job breaking it, hero."

Charting control [v1.4] OpenGL game tutorial in C++Well, usually Blizzard optimizes games, so the run well on non-rocket computers. After all, it's in their interest to have a larger number of potential players. I think a computer slightly above mid spec will have no problem running SC2.

Real programmers don't play games.
