Hi Alex, I proposed Munich because I used to live there before I moved to Switzerland and I know the city (can organize a place, assist with accomodation, etc.). I'd prefer more exotic place, too. :-) But to be constructive: how many of you guys are ready to organize the event in the place you are proposing? I think this might be decisive in selecting the place. The meeting would take place somewhere in april (should give everyone enough time to prepare). Regards, Tomaz Software Architect Switzerland

Hi guys, how many of us here live in Europe? How about a meeting in Munich, we can discuss code all night, so that they don't say we don't have a life? Tomaz Software Architect, Switzerland

Well I live in Stekene, a small town between Antwerp and Ghent in Belgium. Maybe we can meet in Brussels, the capital of Europe (isn't it?):)

I'm in Melbourne the week following Easter Tuesday and Sydney the week after that. Otherwise I am in Hobart. You're welcome to pop down here, but I warn you, it's such a beautiful place, you may not be able to leave ( happened to me on holiday from Melbourne ten years ago... ) Christian The content of this post is not necessarily the opinion of my yadda yadda yadda. I like the idea of an annual “Code Project Conference”. Chris could arrange for various project managers from Microsoft, etc, to come and give presentations and t-shirts, and Dundas/Stingray/[insert MFC component developer here] could give presentations and live demos as well. Companies and individuals should be able to rent a stand to showcase their products and/or skill areas. Recruitment companies could come along and look for talent, and vice versa. It should be hosted somewhere where we can go skiing as well, and preferably somewhere with late-night bars so we can all hold Christian up to his continuous “If you are nearby drop in for a beer” offers... I think it could be quite popular if done correctly :). David Wulff dwulff@battleaxesoftware.com
