Has anybody worked with interestingly named people? Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with a guy called Thomas and his wife Geraldine (Tom & Jerry) and some one called Warren Pierce (Sounds like 'War & Peace'). What about you guys? I heard of a Chinese lady who had the hardest time getting her co-workers to pronounce her name properly, so eventual she just asked every one to refer to her by her initials, and her last name: Q. D. Ho Ryan Johnston

I haven't worked with anyone with an interesting name, but a friend of mine used to use a travel agent named Justin Case (of the Case Travel Agency, Hudson, MA).  Here are some gems from from "Remarkable Names of Real People" by John Train (ISBN 0-517-543036), one of my favorites on my bookshelf:

              • Messrs. Bull and Schitt, Glaciologists, International Union of Geodesy & Geophysics, Switzerland
              • Cardinal Sin, Archbishop of Manila, Philippines
              • Lawless & Lynch, Attorneys, Jamaica, New York
              • Major Minor, US Army
              • Newton Hooton (Newton, Mass.)
              • Mustafa Kunt (Turkish Military Attache, Moscow, Russia)
              • O. Hell (Contractor, Aldo Adige, Italy)
              • Ms. Pensive Cock (Secretary, US Army Corps)
              • Plummer & Leek, Plumbers, Sheringham, Norfolk
              • T. Hee (restaurant employee, NYC)
              • Warren Peace (Williams College, Mass.)

I had a teacher (Mr. Case) in HS who named his son Justin Case. I knew a girl who married and had a daughter she named April May Summers.
