It is interesting to me that you continue to tell yourself that. Who are you trying to convince ? I promise you that the only mirror you've shown me is a disturbing mirror into what I hope is not the view of Islam in general. I am not retaliating, I am taking the time to force you to either be honest, or go away. I'd prefer the former, are you capable of it ? Can you actually discuss/respond to me ? Or can you just name call ?

They probably treat their livestock better than their wives. While I am sure there are many who would never think of doing such a thing, it is still too commonplace and it does not seem the government is doing enough. In the one case they said the guy was arrested for attempted murder, but how much punishment does one get there for something like that? I'm glad to see there is a charity involved to help these women; hopefully the story will bring in funds.

Absolutely, livestock do work and bring income. A wife is a play thing to them, just a possession.

I did. As I said before, I condemn any violence or discrimination - in particular against women or vulnerable LGBT people - irrespective of who commits it. When it is state sanctioned (e.g. women being jailed for being raped) it is even more represensible. Hence my complete abhorance of religious or state sanctioned inequality or injustice.

There are many quotes that can be taken from the Old Testament that demonstrate a hatred for all other religions among the Jews of antiquity. However, no legal system anywhere in the world is based on these outdated precepts. On the other hand Shariah Law requires the enforcement of every saying of the Prophet, such as "For them is drink of boiling water and a painful doom, because they disbelieved." Is that not so?

How do you know what Jesus did and didn't say ? You reject the writings that come from eye witnesses, so how can you know ? You are right as it happens, but as usual, you don't understand Him, or His message.
