Yes, but definitely the 50s movie over that Tom Cruise trash that they did recently. That was just plain bad.
I concur, I was referring to the original movie. I should have specified that. The recent remake did not add any value to timeless radio show or movie. I would like to obtain a copy of the original radio broadcast.

I concur, I was referring to the original movie. I should have specified that. The recent remake did not add any value to timeless radio show or movie. I would like to obtain a copy of the original radio broadcast.

As I figured you were. With all the classics listed, I would hope no one that's responded would list that remake as anything but extraordinarily bad. Even still, I felt the need to comment. :laugh:

ok.... for mine it is Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior Akira The Day the Earth Stood Still Alien Resurrection Artificial Intelligence Blade Runner Back to The Future Terminator 2 Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back The Matrix Scanners Wall-E X2 Gattica 2001 A Space Odyssey Bicentennial Man The list could go on...... i know there is only supposed to be 10 :doh:

Awesome thread and most of my fave movies appear in here, but why has no-one mentioned Demon Seed? I know it has its faults but it's an amazing film. Demon Seed Matrix Blade Runner Andromeda Strain Logan's Run 12 Monkeys 2001: Space Odyssey THX 1138 Akira Alphaville (A randomish "top 10" that may or may not be the same next time you ask me). From the comment elsewhere about old sci-fi fans, I'm 35. I love the new stuff, but somehow the movies I saw when very young like Andromeda Strain, Logan's Run and Demon Seed went in very deep.

The classics: Fifth Element The Matrix Star Wars (IV-VI) Blade Runner Alien (and Aliens) The controversies: Logan's Run Iron Man Underworld City of Lost Children Starship Troopers TRON I have a serious geek-on for TR2N and The Watchmen, watch for them, I'm sure they will please.
