I don't think it would be hugely different in most fields (publishing not being one of them.) I'd say that cell phones and cable/satellite TV have had a far bigger impact on society. Watching detectives in old reruns searching for pay phones cracks me up.

I already live in a world without Apple. No reason to change that. But if you mean like a world without computers and internet porn..............? Hello suicide pill.

i figure i will become a shoe cobbler if that is the case since, as long as there are women, there will be a demand for shoes. and lots of them. the pricier, the better. :cool:

Um why? I'm not interested in paying for a *shiny* interface when equivalent or better products are available elsewhere for less money. For my money Archos media players have been blowing away the iPods for years. I will say the Iphone has the best mobile browser I've seen but that's like coming in 1st in a turd polishing competition. I'm not interested in browsing the web on a 4 inch screen. Do they still make computers? :)

I have an iPhone, but while it is cool, I am not in love with it

Yes, my Mac runs windows as well and is in every way better than any PC notebook I have owned.

It is called living in the country. Been there, done that.. Nice only for holidays and retreats. Chop wood, haul water, feed animals, chop wood,haul water, cut hay 18 hrs when it is 40C in the shade chop wood, haul water cook over a hot stove to make preserves when it is 40C in the shade. give me a PC of anysort, hi speed internet and airconditioning any day, microsoft, google is better the chop wood ect.
