yea i like em, but not the more realistic stuff like counter strike and the other war type FPS games, i prefer games that have a cool storyline mixed with a lil science fiction, my fav's include Half Life(all of them), F.E.A.R & Bio Shock

I bought myself an xbox360 the other day and a copy of Call Of Duty 4, Medal of honor airborne and Gears of War. Call of Duty is bar far the best of those but it does get a tad repetative
Ugh... FPS on consoles :sigh:

I'm a Halo 3 addict, still waiting for BT to connect my new line though, so I can't get my fix arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh :| :-D Back in the day I was on Counter Strike from the 1.5 days and Battlefield 2 is awesome too, but I just can't get off of Halo and onto any other game.

Get Halo 3, best game by a mile (online anyway) and it never gets boring. Had it for nearly a year now and every other game I've bought in the mean time has had 5 minutes of play and then straight back to Halo :-D

Give me a strategy game or an RPG any day. I almost never play FPS types.

No way! COD4 online blows Halo out of the water. Until GTA IV game out, it was consistently the most played game on XBOX Live. It's ability to get you in a game quickly is also much better.

I don't usually go out of my way to get an FPS, usually preferring RPG or strategy games (Disgaea 3 is a blast, heh). I do have a few favorites on the Playstation systems: * Half-Life (PS2) * Half-Life 2 Orange Box (PS3) * Haze (PS3) * Resistance: Fall of Man (PS3) * Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PS2) * Serious Sam: Next Encounter (PS2) * TimeSplitters series (PS2) Lately, though, I've been playing Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for the PS3. A third person shooter instead of FPS, but who cares? It's still great blowin' stuff up. Edit: Oh, almost forgot. Can't wait for the PS3 release of Bioshock. Everything I've read about the game sounds pretty great. :) Flynn

Try it - believe me, this is the finest RPG ever! A little old, but gold and extremely addictive.
