Man charged for burping

AN Australian police union has backed the arrest and charging of a man for allegedly burping in a staff member's face at the police station in Tully, south of Cairns, saying police are sick of being treated with a lack of respect. http://www.cairns.com.au/article/2008/09/04/6721_local-news.html[^]
police told the man to stop burping but he then started "swearing, became abusive to police and aggressive in front of others including an elderly woman waiting at the counter". You also fail to mention he went into the police station and did this, the police didn't come to him.

A guy I know once got into an argument at a gas station with a woman. She yelled at him, he yelled at her , both of them moving closer to each other. When he got too close and accidentaly stepped on her toe(not her foot, just a toe)she called the cops and he got a 4th degree assault charge.
