Lewis Hamilton loses out when given a 25s penalty despite dropping back after skipping through the chicane. Disgraceful.[^]
(Not you, Steve, just wanted this to appear after the last thread) What's the matter, you spineless goon? Too afraid that you'll be shot down in flames if you try and argue against any of us? You are a cretin of the first order, a twat your mother wishes to disown. I've met pieces of shit with more wherewithal than you, you miserable piece of distended rectum.

One of the more disturbing things about F1 is that FIA management so obviously hates McClaren and favors Ferrari (I'm a huge Kimi fan, but we have to be honest here.)

It does appear that way. What is disturbing is the technical stupidity of the stewards, who appear to be saying that Lewis had more momentum as a result of cutting the corner.. We know Hamilton cut the chicane because of Kimi's move pushing him over. On the straight he allowed Kimi to re-overtake him. Therefore, Kimi's velocity was greater than Lewis's velocity on the straight. Since F1 cars have very tight weight limits and we are nearly at the end of the race, we can assume the two cars have nearly identical masses. Momentum is mass times velocity. If Kimi's velocity is higher and mass is the same Kimi must have more momentum. Hamilton overtook him because Kimi was being more cautious due to the conditions. The stewards are therefore: a) ignorant b) biased c) both a and b Given the non-penalty last race for Massa's incident in the pitlane (not Massa's fault I believe) one finds it hard to believe that the FIA isn't biased to Ferrari. Time to dump the FIA and make F1 an independent sport (we also get rid of Max Mosely too)

Hamilton admitted he let Kimi by just enough (what he thought was enough), then used the slipstream (draft) to get past him. All we had was the cameras to watch. Perhaps the stewards had a better view, or some technicality in the rulebook. Can Mclaren appeal or is it final?

Hamilton would have had the slipstream anyway if he had just followed Kimi round the corner. It's all a pointless argument since Kimi crashed on the same lap due to his own actions. Hamilton did not get a higher position in the results due to his action. McLaren can appeal and is doing so, but I doubt this will be overturned. The stewards are now clearly biased toward to Ferrari. If Massa wins this championship as a result of this decision I'm turning off F1 again like I did for 2002-2006 when Schumacher and then Alonso won so much it was boring.

Schumacher winning wasn't the problem (despite my dislike for him, I have to admit he was an excellent driver) it was the same problem as here--the rules apparently only applied to non-Ferrari teams. Even more annoying is that Schumacher didn't need to be favored!
