Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have to write 5 articles to reach Gold?
Membership status calculated as follows: 1-4 articles posted = Bronze. 5-14 articles = Silver. 15-24 articles = Gold. 25+ articles = Platinum. Each 500 messages posted adds one level, and if a member has posted a message then each year of membership adds 1 level until the member hits Silver. Bronze is awarded at the beginning of the first 500 messages posted instead of the end.

I just got a nice clicking sensation when I pressed the Report Message :)
I still remember having to write your own code in FORTRAN rather than be a cut and paste merchant being pampered by colour coded Intellisense - ahh proper programming - those were the days :)

I've tried various forms of humour, parental style advice and even diplomacy. This is not going to work. But may I suggest something that may just do the trick. I agree no response to any postings by TWD until after Chris's return. That will give everyone, including him, time to calm down and get a grip. But let's offer a possible get out. Vote him 5 should there be a sensible and constructive posting that adds something to the thread in question. Please no 1 votes, that's like giving a dog an extra buttock. If you want to splash out on the onsies, then send 'em my way. I've got a good colection going; along with the fivers when I get when sober. Remember what you learnt in school. 'Stick and stones may break my bones, but whips and chains excite me words can never harm me.'
