Just wondering how many other Australians there are lurking out there in the Lounge? This thought was sparked by the Code Project Meeting Thread found in the Lounge a few days ago. A few Aussies replied in amongst the many Europeans and I am sure there must be many more. I know of the following few from reading various replies over the last 16 months. Chris Maunder - Canberra Christian Graus - Tasmania Lauren ??? - South Australia (or was that South Africa) Rob Manderson - Victoria Stephen Kellet - ??? Ivan Wooton _ ??? Colin Davies - New Zealand (well if Crowded House Russell Crowe etc. are good enough for Australia...) So how many more of us are there? Russell Crowe comes from NZ ? On that front, I liked Gladiator, but surely Traffic deserved an Oscar more ? Christian The content of this post is not necessarily the opinion of my yadda yadda yadda. To understand recursion, we must first understand recursion.

Woohoo, looks like I'm the first from Sydney (born Sydney, raised in Adelaide, moved back to Sydney to work!) :-D Of course I'm not a 'real' programmer. I mainly write tools to help us in testing poker machines (and a fun business it is too :) I'm probably more of a nemesis to most people on this forum, I get software (in this case poker machine software) and find bugs, and lots of them.... First one to reply maybe, but since I'm from Sydney (North Western Suburbs born and raised) and I posted the initial message I win that race. As for being a real programmer, I was once upon a time but now I'm a Consultant as it pays more, but I try to squeeze programming in when ever I can.
