The more interesting, and important!, question is: what age would you prefer your partner to be, given the discovery of the Fountain of youth? :)

I would say 25 to 28 for that any younger and I feel like I am looking at a child.

I think I'm at my perfect age, 41. Just recently I became a grandmother to a beautiful little girl. My son-in-law took a picture of us with my iPhone and uploaded it to my photoblog. I didn't realize he took a picture of me and the baby, I thought he was taking one of the baby only. Here's the pic[^] When I'm out with my daughter and the baby everyone thinks the baby is mine and always say I don't look old enough to be a grandmother. I think it's a subjective thing, but I'm flattered none-the-less. My life has been blessed and I've only just realized it. I may be unhappy with the crappy 4 hour-round-trip commute, but at least I have a job, a house, and a family. My only regret is now that I'm finally with Mr. Wright (a play on his last name and that fact that he is so right for me) I wish we hadn't lost the 26 years in between when I first fell for him and now. I was 15 and he was 17.

If you discovered the Fountain of Youth, and had the ability to live in perpetual perfection, at what age would you be? Personally I think 28 would be great (If only, 42 now!) Old enough to be serious, young enough to be handsome, attractive and wonderful!

It seems to me that your question is a contradiction in terms. Living is a process. The only way to stop that process is to die.

Aw, thank you, I think? Is that a good or bad thing? I often wonder. I mean, I had my daughter when I was 21, so I wasn't a teen mother. But when people tell me they think I'm 32 - 35 and can't believe I'm a grandmother, I don't want them thinking I was a teen mom which was so not acceptable back in the day. :sigh:

Well, according to various lore and depending on which type you are, being undead can have it's advantages and preserves you at the "appearance" of what you think your perfect age maybe. But if we take the lessons of the little vampire from "Interview with a Vampire" to heart,(like that is really a reference or something :P) Aging still continues even in death. Personally, as I stated earlier...I'm happy, even when I'm unhappy, I'm still happy with all that has happened in my life, because without all of the experiences I wouldn't be who I am today and I wouldn't be anywhere near as confident to say that if I were any younger than say, 40 :D.

40, unquestionably. Everything you said applies to 40 it does *not* apply to 28.
