                  I'm trying to work out:

                  [ddrucker@scatter ~]$ host -t txt freon.3e.org
freon.3e.org descriptive text "Anesthetized monkeys exposed to 25,000
ppm or 50,000 ppm [of freon] for 5 minutes had [cardiac] [arrhythmia]s
including [tachycardia] and decreased contractility (U.S. EPA 1983)"

Panic, Chaos, Destruction. My work here is done.

Well I don't know if I like the ending or if I hate it, but I was just blown away. The director showed he had some big balls to defy all the usual Hollywood cliches with that final scene.

Yeah? Maybe George Lucas should have had some balls too and killed off Luke Skywalker at the end of Star Wars and made a statement about how hopeless everything is so you might as well give up now and save yourself the agony...but, I'll bet you if he did that, he wouldn't have made the prequels :) I thought the Mist was well made, but I won't ever watch it again because of that ending. If the Director had less balls, he would have sold me a DVD...oh well.
