    The LHC is a black hole!!! It has already sucked in 6 billion euros.

                  My best friend in high school was named Steve. I used to work on a project where the manager was named Steve. I have a friend who used to drive a new-model Mustang, which had a commercial featuring Steve McQueen (who drove a Mustang in the movie Bullitt). Does this count? :-D

                      Considering that's the total over the lifetime of the project, and the funding has come from many countries, it's pretty cheap. According to Brian Cox, the UK's yearly spend on the LHC is less than we spend on peanuts!
