Nope. How do you explain the relationship with respect to this answer? "Contro" is a very good guess, but that is not the word. :)

An opposing argument to deny a proposal with a penny and relation between things in the North (13) Sounds tough, but is all pretty straight forward. Well, almost. :) Clues given so far:

      • The answer starts with C and ends with N.
      • An opposing argument to deny a proposal is not "Counter", neither is it "Contro".
      • The answer is a mix of three words and a single alphabet (not necessarily in that order).
      • The answer rhymes with the word contradiction

Hmmm... Is this related to Dave's CCC's or did you start rolling your own?

It's fun. There is an option of not replying to it, if you don't want to play. This is the first time I posted something like this and someone's actually participating in it.

                  That is my process:

Think -> Find all 13-letter-words having to do with the CCC -> Post guess.

I'm the wild guess type of guy. The usual process

Think -> Try to solve CCC using hints in the CCC -> Post guess

turned for me to be so inefficient that randomly throwing words has had more success for now. Yes, I reckon I s**k at CCC's, but I am probably missing the feminine genes it seem to require to be good at.

I don't think I'm that good at the cryptic bit so I'm trying to figure out what the clue might mean instead. An opposing view (which I'm guessing the actual clue refers to) being the subject of the clue and then the rest of the clue being the cryptic part. Something like controversion would fit the meaning but I can't get it to fit into the cryptic part...

After all, it looks like you have zero situational awareness of the Lounge. Dalek is away for a few days, and Ravel was posting CCC's daily. I posted one today. Surely, that is something that you have to make so much noise about?

Could the both of you stop argumenting about that ? This is childish and has no point. Dave is the CCC guy, Rajesh makes an attempt while Dave is on vacation. I do not think that the Lounge is flood under CCCs, and if you do want to participate, ignore the post.
