i've been a Vista supporter since I first installed it. but i'd never used it on a laptop. and i'd never used it on a laptop with iTunes, via WiFi.... it's crap. if the signal is anything but "excellent", iTunes won't play a song more than 5 seconds at a time - and even if the signal is excellent, iTunes will still periodically cut out and freeze completely for up to 15 seconds at a time while it does ... something. during that time, i can verify that the WiFi connection itself is fine because i can ping addresses, no problem. the rest of the computer is responsive and everything else works fine... but, iTunes won't work. but iTunes works fine on my old trusty XP laptop (which i was hoping to replace since it's sssllloooowwwww). but, oh well for Dell, this new laptop is going back to meet its maker. /rant

I am inclined to say that "iTunes is an unresponsive piece of shit" but that would be rude. it's just software.... from apple... on windows... vista

Seriously, iTunes on Windows is staggeringly bad. No wonder Apple want to control the hardware so badly...

Funny I've never had an issue with Quicktime + iTunes. Now WMP on the other hand, though I must admit that more recent versions are tolerable.

i've never had any real problems before - not on XP, not on Vista desktop, not even on Vista laptop with a hard network connection... it's just the introduction of WiFi that makes the difference for me.
