Here at work, different groups have been marking their territory with Symbols; lighting bolts and Ohms (Omega) symbols for the hardware guys; Various tools for the mechanical guys; But what are some software symbols? I’ve thought of some binary (10100) and possibly a snippet of assembly language, but that’s about it. So what are some symbols for software?

So what happens if a lightning bolt man enters mechanical territory? Gets beaten with the big screw-wrench? Hmm, lightning bolts...[^]

A solid page of transparency. Or how about a complicated maze with no solution.

On power switches, they have a symbol for 'On' and 'Off', which is kind of the embodiment of a 'bit' or 'true/false'...how about that?
